Digital Documentation
As your vessel is taking shape, the plethora of technical manuals, drawings and photographic data grows exponentially.

Mobile Marine Technology will digitise, organise and integrate all this information.

Forget missing manuals. All technical documentation will be instantly available at the push of a button.

We can convert documents from all common (including most CAD) formats, and scan pages up to A0 in size. All documents will be delivered in Adobe Acrobat format on CD and linked to your database.

Spares Inventory Database
Where required, Mobile Marine Technology can draw up a comprehensive spare parts database.

All spare parts may be bar-coded and listed with name, number, manufacturer, related equipment supplier and storage area:

Photo Documentation
Mobile Marine Technology can carry out complete photo documentation during the construction or refit of your vessel.

The digital high-quality photos will be inter-linked with the general layout drawing or system schematics.

This will not only simplify the tracing of pipes and wires behind interior walls and bulkheads, but can be extremely helpful when planning modifications or repair work.

We are also able to create virtual reality three-dimensional pictures. These provide less detailing but give a much better overview of piping and wiring in certain areas:

Interactive Drawings
Mobile Marine Technology can not only integrate all drawings into the database but also link the drawing elements (e.g. machinery or valves) with a photograph of their actual installation on the vessel.

This is not only a valuable source of information for engineers but can also greatly simplify handovers, training and general maintenance.

Inventory Management
Our vessel inventory management system enables you to:

• quickly find the item you need
• create purchase orders manually or automatically by pre-defined stock levels
• order using e-mail or fax
• print a list of spare parts for a particular device
• print a list of equipment on board (e.g. by storage area)

Optionally tracking the inventory can be facilitated even more by using bar-coded labels for all parts, spares and consumables.

The labels are printed from a dedicated label printer. Portable data collection terminals with integrated bar-code scanner are used to:

• Check In Inventory Items (Purchase)
• Check Out Inventory Items (Consume)
• Perform an Active Inventory
• Check Inventory Item Data instantly by scanning the label

The data collection terminals (Palm OS operating system) smoothly synchronise with IDEA VIO via a docking station.
