Environmental, ethical and social responsibility issues and standards are also taken into consideration in our day to day operations.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

The Board as a whole is responsible for ensuring compliance with MMT’s corporate values and ethical standards. The Management Team considers monitors and reviews environmental, ethical and social issues relevant to the business and associated risks, in addition to the company’s corporate responsibility policies and procedures. MMT seeks to ensure that all associates and employees are aware of and abide by MMT’s environmental, ethical and social policies.

MMT is committed to taking an active role in the communities in which it operates. We support our associates and employees in taking on social responsibilities.

In the UK, MMT annually selects an individual charity to benefit from its fundraising activities. In addition we are a long time supporter of the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland and actively participate in promoting and supporting this excellent Sail Training Charity.
